Hello everyone new to this board. Looks great. Go by sureshot on other forums also. Trying first year bow hunting for moose in the Beardmore Jellico area this year. Was wondering if anyone has watched the Moose Madness video. Its a 4 disc 6 hour series. Looks pretty good is it worth the money. My calling could use a little help before I get up north. Any comments on the Beardmore area would be great also. We will be staying at Pasha Lake Resort. I have hunted in Graham 15a/15b with rifle but this will be my first year with bow.

Hey 10pointer it will be in 21a. Last couple years it was 2 in pool 1 for a bull tag which is really good. Only thing I have heard is there isn't as many back road or logging roads in the area but I am sure its not to hard to get off the beaten path. Thats part of the reason of trying the archery is less crowds. We will be up for Sept 21-29 which should be prime rut.

Hi sureshot, I have seen the videos advertised pretty expensive is right, I am in a toss up right now wiether to get that one or the VHS tapes in the back of OOD. They are pretty expensive as well. I really know nothing about your area, but am thinking of going up this fall for rifle hunt. Somewhere between Geraldton and Terrace Bay.
Where you guys serious with needing only (2) pool 1 applicants for a guaranteed bull? In the regs I thought it read 3+ (now I could easily be wrong as I have been looking at a lot of areas)

I bought the vids. They are over priced for sure but a good watch. This guy knows his stuff, and if your going bow hunting he offers up some great tips and advice on how to do differant things. Such as your set up, decoy use, shot placement ect. When you compare the price to other videos its not all that bad when you consider your getting 4 of them. Owen Scotts calling em in is usualy priced around 40 bucks for a vhs.

Thanks guys, I think I might pick them up. The set-up and decoy info would be helpful for sure.

Hi sureshot, welcome to the board, nice to see another bow hunter in the crowd ;D. I agree with corman the vids seem over priced but considering you get 4 vids it's not that bad. I bought mine through the OFAH and I think it's worth it. I have found it to be very informative and even though I have hunted moose for years and the past 6 with a bow I did learn more. Don't expect to be highly entertained by this as it is instructional but does have some great footage. Our group hunts the Geraldton area WMU 19, have not taken one yet but have come close. It' a game of patience. Anyway enjoy the board.

Quickshot is right on about the entertainment value also. The guy is a little dry at times when explaining stuff. Still very educational though.

Hey Sureshot, what did you think of the vidoes, I finally broke down a couple of weeks ago and ordered the set. Expensive, but if you break it down between the four videos not s o bad! Finished watching the forth one on the weekend (only had about half hour left) I found the entire video very informative. What was your take?
