have been up to quinte twice in the last 2 weeks... the first trip up was last tuesday.. we stopped and got some bait and herd the bite was on so we tried our luck.. got set up around 820 am, a little late but my buddy hooked into this fish almost imediatly.. just over 11 pounds.. we fished for about 2 more hours, i caught a couple small ones and let them go..then around 10:30 my buddy hooked into the biggest walleye i have ever seen.. the fish tipped the scales at 16. 3oz, it was a monster!!! another pic of the 2 fish.. We made the trip yesterday, the weather was cooperative with light winds and milder temps.. My brother, father and I got there for daylight and punched a few holes.. we didnt expect much because we had herd the bite had been off for the last 3 days.. about 5 minutes into the fish my brother hooked this guy, his first walleye through the ice 8lbs.. around 930 i hooked this one, 6lbs... we ended up with 3 decent walleye's and let a couple smaller ones go.. we also lost a couple nice ones right up at the hole been a couple great trips to quinte, i think were due for a skunk soon... LOL
