Yes I know this will be a mixed bag but just wondering what everyone else does. As our group bow hunts and hope everything will be up close and personal we like to go to our spots at first light. Don't want to spook anything when just using a bow. So is your gang going out in the dark or waiting for the light?

Excellent question! I personally believ in going in at legal shooting, because listening to the snorting and grunting of a bull running away is not as good as seeing it. There is two sides to every coin. 10

neither me nor my hubby are into the bow hunt scene,, so we go out to our areas, with guns encased, and at the half hour before sunrise part,, we split... usually walking, sometimes we venture out on quads to get to where we want to go, then we walk,, my hubby and I do a fair bit of walking.. it's much nicer for seeing game, although a bull I shot one year (my very first bull) was shot one day while my hubby was grabbing a snooze after pulling off a night shift, and i was just buzzin around on the quad,, and bumped into a young bull grazing,, LOL so daylight would be my answer,, I would really hate to hear a bull moose go crashing away in the bush and not really see him, due to the darkness,, (as 10 said) that would make me a little pi$$y excellent question!! We get where we are going in the dark but get out of the truck and walk in to the spot just as it is getting light enough to see. You never know when you will see them!!!!!!
