Have seen a couple of moose and lots of big bears will be seeing lots this week as i got permission from the MNR to expand my bear managment area.Right now i lease about 550square miles looking to get about 700 most of that is in WMU 26

I am Sue and I love love love moose hunting,, I have been very very quiet as of late,, (which by the way is my nature  ) but thought I should pop in and say hello! it's been a while eh? Hi i am mike i live in thunder bay and bow hunt 15 b graham area , gave up gun hunting for moose in 1989 and will never go back. Just love to bowhunt for moose and deer. Have 5 kids, only 2 hunt, wife gun hunts.Used to work in a paper mill until i had a work related accident , now put out to pasture. Just more time for bowhunting and fishing. mooser

hi Mike!! welcome to a great site for moose hunters!! it's nice here, although slow at times, but we do check in from time to time,, and with the upcoming hunting season, well, it's going gonna get busy now with plans for hunt camps and trips, and the chatter begins!! now that the tags are in, we are getting itchy for October!! bring it on!! ;D
hope to get to know ya, and hear some stories and pics!!!

Names Craig, love moose and deer hunting. Just moved out from alberta and will be going hunting with my Dad for the first time in 16 years. I have 3 kids and I am in the military, been for 16 1/2 years and have been lucky enough to get a bull tag for zone 25 in Sept. now just need to figure out how to get there.. but thats part of the fun. |

The 'Admiral" has now joined this forum. Don't post often but look lots. Hunting for more than 50 years now, and hunt just about everything edible. Love to do the game butchering and spend lots of time with recipes in the kitchen and BBQ. Have hunted caribou (QC), Elk (MB), Bear (ON), Moose (ON & MB), Boar SC), Antelope (NM) deer (ON & MB). Never miss Bruce County deer hunt (I live near Port Elgin) and havenb't missed Ontario moose hunt in about 35 years, except for time I lived in Manitoba and hunted them there. Great looking forum for my favourite big game--I'll be lurking here often.

Awesome! Welcome guys. Good to have a few ,ore members. Dodn't be afraid to post there Admiral. I always love hearing input and storries from vetren hunters like yourself. Sounds like you have really done it all. I'd love to sit around a camp fire and listen to you tell some of your adventures. Where abouts do ya hale from anyway?

Hello everyone. I enjoy fishing and hunting in Ontario. I chase after most game animals. I used to hunt for upland and migratory game then switched to big game about 7 years ago. Just can't do it all. I have a pair of great labs that are trained duck dogs thanks to my wife Deb. lol. Now I don't use them. Kind of ironic.
Is there anything I can do to help with this forum? I am an admin at another Ontario hunting forum and fishing forum and don't mind entertaining ideas to spark some life into this board from those avenues. I think moose hunting deserves it's own special place.
I have some ideas, shoot me a PM or e-mail if your interested.
