Hi all. I'm reavinerat from Lake Simcoe area Ontario. Just started hunting Moose last year. Last year we had a Bull tag and I saw two Cows I could have shot at. This year we had a Cow tag and had a huge Bull walk out 70 paces from me and stand there. Hope to get a Moose next year.
Duck season right now and love to fish with my son most of the summer away.

Hello, I am new to moose hunting and currently live in Moosonee. I will be going next week for 5 days, which I know is very late, but with work this was the only time or not go at all. I was wondering if cow calling is still effective so late in the season? Once the rut is over is that generally it for the calling or will the bulls still come in for or respond to a cow call?
Thanks very much,
Heath
