I just got off the phone with my buddy in Toronto and he got a bull tag as well. So that means we know have 2 bull tags for 6 guys in WMU 4. I can't wait we are going to pound them this fall.

woohoo!! we got a bull tag for WMU 6!! yeah!!! c'mon October!! I got 23 days off throughout the opener!! I think we're going to do something totally different than what we're used to this year,, with so many hunters, and so little moose, we got to find another strategic plan I can't wait to hear and see pics of hunts this year!! we had a guy in our camp that decided he was gonna be a scardy cat about hunting on the water,, so he made this whimpy story, and we ended up trashing the whole thing,, it's a long story and with what happened last year, we decided that us (me 'n giver) are a better (and more reliable) team, so we are gonna do our own thing,, but over the last few years, we have always set up a big honkin moose camp, this year we're gonna go for maybe a week, and pull camp when we're done,, it's not gonna be as serious as in the past.. we're gonna be more laid back then that.... and gonna go for deer this year mostly. around here there's not enough moose, and wayyyy too many hunters for our liking,, someone's gonna get hurt if it keeps up. it's dangerous!! we'll do the day hunt thing ;D sometimes in a boat, sometimes on a quad, sometimes on foot ;D

The Admiral's small group of five (only three going this year, because one got drawn for mule deer in Wyoming and the son-in-law can't get off work) have a cow tag for WMU 39. We do it the old fashioned way--prospector tent and just love it. I'm the kid of this year's group at 63 and we'll keep camping til we drop. Grouse, fish and a chance at moose--can't get much better than that!

Our group (3 of us) has a bull tag for zone 25 this year. We decided to go there to increase our odds of getting a tag this year. My Dad got drawn this year it is his first tag since the draw system started.
