Kids growing into hunters

This is my son at 2 and a half, with my old pellet gun, (yes a Daisy) and a hat for hide I had just picked up.


And this is him at 14 on his first Moose hunt. His mom wanted lots of orange on him

Thats just great Dave. Who is happier there, him or you? I bet the fella behind the camara has a big ole smile on aswell. I hope he bags one this year. I got the chance to shoot my first one with my gramps at 16. Hope he does the same.

That was on his last day as his mom came half way up and I drove half way down so he could get back to school. I was well worth the extra travel time.

I would be trade never filling another tag for him to get a good shot at a nice bull, but I know it will come.

ya just gotta love the young'uns getting into hunting!! our little miss has her own .22 this year, and has been out with her daddy target shooting, aparantly she's a good shot ;D they are going bird hunting this weekend, (I have to work every weekend from now till my holidays at moose hunting season) so I'll miss that ,, but through the week, I am gonna head out with her for some birds!!! she is reallly into it!! she sure does make her daddy proud
